Prior to joining Willamette Valley Benefits in 2020, Mel spent almost two decades working for a non-profit, primarily in Runaway and Homeless Youth Services. She went from the program side of operations to Human Resources where she fell in love with benefits administration. She enjoys working with clients to help them find the right health insurance options to meet their needs. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering, quilting, running with her girlfriends, and escaping to the beach with her husband and daughter.
